All sunday school classes will resume Sunday, January 20th at 10:00 AM.
New this semester is the Living the Good News Adult class. This class offers an in-depth look at the lectionary readings for each Sunday. After receiving some historical background on the readings, participants discuss how God was working in the lives of the characters involved and what that means for us. Exploring the scriptures prepares our hearts and minds to be more engaged in the hour of worship that follows or has already happened.
Living the Good News is facilitated by Philip Reich, Cathy Randall, Bunny Cox and Greg Evans, and will meet in Room 222.
Our Community and Conversations class continues in the conference room next to Randall Hall.
This is a casual way to dig deeper in our Episcopal faith by discussing new and old topics. We will have a guest speaker guide us in meaningful conversation each week while we reflect on how these topics affect ourselves and our community. This class is geared towards 20's - 40's but all are welcome. January 20 and 27 will be led by Andrew Minear with a focus on church music. Scott Holmes is the facilitator of the class.
Our Youth classes continue with Senior High Doughnuts and Discussion meeting in the Adam Grant Room. The 7th-8th graders will continue Rite 13 in the youth office off the gym and the 6th graders will meet in Room 226 for Reform. For more information visit https://www.christchurch1828.org/youth
Preschool through 5th Grade will continue Love First. For more information visit https://www.christchurch1828.org/children
