Christ Church’s concert series brings a variety of talent and events to special performances throughout the year. All concerts are free and open to the public. Below, meet the artists coming to Christ Episcopal Church this year!

 

Capstone Woodwind Quintet
Sunday, Sept. 17, 2017, 4:00 PM  

The Capstone Woodwind Quintet, UA’s primary faculty ensemble in residence, opens the 2017-2018 season of the Concerts & Culture at Christ Church with a concert in the music hall of Christ Episcopal Church. Free and open to the public

Coffee House
Thursday, Oct. 12, 7:00-9:00 PM

A Coffee House theme showcases an evening of a local jazz quartet and other entertainment accompanied by coffee, tea and baked goods in Randall Hall. Free and open to the public. Refreshments will be available for purchase.

Madrigal Dinner
Friday, Jan. 26, 2018, 6:30 PM

A medieval banquet hall fit for a king and queen will be the setting for this midwinter fundraiser for the C4 Concert Series. Enjoy a merry evening with a hearty meal, wassail, other beverages, entertainment and music. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased online here.

A Celtic Evening
Thursday, March 8, 2018, 6:30 PM

The Westwood Irish Dancers from Birmingham will perform, along with Jil Chambless and the Rising Road Celtic ensemble playing traditional folk music from the British Isles. Free and open to the public.

Birmingham Boys Choir
Sunday, April 8, 2018, 4:00 PM 

This group of boys singing together dates back for over fifty years in Birmingham. This concert will present the chamber choir. Free and open to the public.
