This choir for 3 and 4 yr. olds meets on Sunday evenings from 5-6 PM with the St. Gregory Choir and is taught by Mrs. Procter and MeMe. This choir is the same age group as our Joyful Noise group, but allows those church members who are unable to enroll on Mondays to also be in a choir in this age group. Both of these choirs participate in the Children's Liturgy which is generally the first Sunday of each month at 9 AM during the school year.

FAMILY CHOIR

The CEC Family Choir offers additional opportunities for parishioners to make an impact and serve in our music program. The Family Choir is for anyone aged 5 through 95 who is interested in singing a few times a month with the St. Cecilia Singers for the 9 AM Eucharist. This choir, taught by Mr. Procter, rehearses on Sunday afternoons together with the St. Cecilia Singers the week prior to singing in church. Music reading skills are not required.

ALABAMA CHOIR SCHOOL

The Alabama Choir School is a non-profit outreach ministry housed at Christ Church that now encompasses approximately 150 singers after its humble beginnings as the Tuscaloosa Boychoir, beginning with seventeen brave young boys way back in 1985. This after-school, tuition-based, community music organization focuses on choral music education and consists of four choirs for children in grades one through twelve, meeting Monday through Thursday afternoons each week during the school year. Their two most advanced choirs have performed all over the world over the last three decades: Europe, Asia, and the Americas. Please visit www.alachoirschool.org for more information.
