ADULT CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES
Adult Sunday school classes meet at 10:00 am on Sunday mornings. Christ Church offers two different adult classes this year, and you can learn more about each one below.
Living the Good News
This class offers an in-depth look at the lectionary readings for each Sunday. After receiving some historical background on the readings, participants discuss how God was working in the lives of the characters involved and what that means for us. Exploring the scriptures prepares our hearts and minds to be more engaged in the hour of worship that follows or has already happened.
Facilitated by Philip Reich, Cathy Randall, Bunny Cox and Greg Evans and will meet in Room 222.
Community & Conversations
Community and Conversations is a casual way to dig deeper in our Episcopal faith by discussing new and old topics. We will have a guest speaker guide us in meaningful conversation each week while we reflect on how these topics affect ourselves and our community. This class is geared towards 20's - 40's but all are welcome.
This class is facilitated by Scott Holmes and will meet downstairs in the conference room.
BOOK AND A BAGEL
This group meets in the mantle room on the second floor the last Wednesday of each month. For more information please contact Eleanor Streit at 556-1183.
Just for fun! Supper Clubs are adult fellowship gatherings that meet in homes, restaurants, or other settings as a way to get to know other members at Christ Church. Groups meet once a month for a year, and are then reformed. Contact Katherine Gould here if you would like to be added to a group.
